Sunita Williams, who was ‘stuck’ in space for many months, broke her silence, said- To be honest…

Sunita Williams News: NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore addressed a live press conference from space, in which they answered many issues. Sunita recently expressed happiness over the safe landing of Boeing Starliner on Earth from space. Breaking her silence on the landing, she said that honestly, I am very happy that it landed safely without any problem. Sunita and Wilmore reached space through Starliner in the first week of June, but then due to technical problems, both of them remained ‘stuck’ in space. Now both of them are going to return in February next year. During the press conference, Wilmore said that he has learned lessons, which he will follow in the coming times.

In a live press conference held from the International Space Station (ISS), Sunita Williams said that she was excited and proud of the large team responsible for bringing the Starliner to Earth. She said, “Honestly, I am very happy that it reached home without any problems. It was a huge sense of relief, and we were really excited and proud of our large team for bringing the spacecraft home and landing it properly in the desert.”

Butch Wilmore, who was in space with Sunita, said that he has learned lessons and will be involved in discussions to address them. Butch also ensured that whatever changes are necessary will be made. Boeing and the entire team are committed to making those changes. Butch Wilmore said, “We have learned lessons, we will follow them. We will discuss. We will be involved in those discussions and the things that need to be changed will be changed. When you have issues like we have, some changes need to be made. Boeing is with it. We are all with it.”

Sunita Williams said that we are very happy to be here and to be a part of the crew that is here. We have been a part of Expedition 71. They are very nice people and we have just tried to be involved and do whatever we can. We are looking forward to Nick and Alex getting there as part of Expedition 72.

Indian-origin Sunita Williams further said, “When Butch and I were preparing for this flight, we talked about the test flight and knowing that it is scheduled for eight days, there may be other things that may keep us here for a little longer, we have been training for many years not only for Starliner but also for the International Space Station. Both of us have been here before, so we have a little bit of experience.
