Confirming the matter, SP Nurpur Ashok Ratna said that the Narcotics team had set up a naka in Jasur. When an attempt was made to stop the Punjab number vehicle during the naka, the driver hit the police vehicle. Both the accused tried to run away, but the police caught them. Police has recovered 1 kg 100 grams of chitta from the accused. Along with this, 100 intoxicant pills and 13 lakh 20 thousand 330 rupees cash have also been recovered. Both these accused were coming from Amritsar.

According to information, the arrested accused have been identified as 25-year-old Rohit Kumar, resident of Nanak Road Gurdaspur, Punjab and 29-year-old Vishal Kumar, resident of Dumtal, Bhadroya, Kangra. The vehicle has been seized. The police have registered a case under the Narcotics Act. The police suspect that this drug has been sent from Pakistan to India through drones. At present, the police is investigating the matter and the accused are being interrogated.
