Suspected death of a patient in Ambala, 34-year-old man fell from the third floor of the hospital

Ambala. A patient committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of the civil hospital in Ambala Cantonment, Haryana. It is being told that a 34-year-old patient named Ravindra was mentally disturbed. Ravindra was a resident of Saha and had come here after being referred from Mullana Hospital on 8 November, but late at night the patient committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of the hospital building. The police started further action by keeping the dead body in the mortuary for postmortem.

The father of the deceased Ravindra, who reached for the post-mortem of the dead body, told that Ravindra was brought here due to ill health. He told that Ravindra used to have seizures, due to which this accident happened. On the other hand, Mukesh Kandara, Medical Officer of the hospital told that this patient had come after being referred from the CHC of Mullana and had diarrhea and fever. That’s why I was referred here. He told that its platelets were also less. He told that the staff present there had told that the patient had suffered a stroke.

The hospital staff informed about this accident to the police station Ambala Cantt. The police started investigation by keeping the body in the mortuary. SHO Naresh Sharma of Police Station Sadar said that Ravindra, a resident of Thakarpura, had entered here on November 8 and his family told that he already had seizures. He told that Ravindra was standing near the window at night and suddenly he had a stroke, due to which he fell from the window and died. He told that at present, the police will hand over the body to the family after conducting the post-mortem and further investigation will be done.
