India has pledged a grant of US$7.5 million for screening and diagnosis of the disease in the Indo-Pacific region to strengthen the fight against cervical cancer.
The Quad nations announced a new Regional Maritime Initiative (MAITRI) for training in the Indo-Pacific to enable their partners in the region to make the most of the tools provided through the Indo-Pacific Maritime Domain Awareness (IPMDA) and other initiatives of Quad partners to monitor and secure their waters, enforce their laws, and deter illegal behaviour.
