Target to provide jobs to 10 lakh people by the year 2023, Modi government has prepared a plan in 5 points

New Delhi. The Narendra Modi government at the Center has set a target of providing employment to 10 lakh people by the end of the year 2023. For this, steps have been taken like special portal, target of two months, review meeting every week at secretary level, preparation of full calendar, collection of data about the number of vacancies due to retirement. It has only one objective that by the end of the year 2023, 10 people should be given jobs. The responsibility of monitoring has been entrusted to the top official of the Prime Minister’s Office. After the problem of unemployment became an issue, the Modi government had announced to fill 10 lakh posts lying vacant in various departments under the Center by the end of the year 2023.

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the issue of unemployment and job talk, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced to fill 10 lakh vacant posts in the central government. The target is to fill these posts by the end of 2023. In view of this, the first ’employment fair’ was organized in October. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had handed over appointment letters to 75 thousand youth. The Modi government has made a 5-point plan to fulfill the target of providing jobs to 10 lakh youth.

Under the first step, there is a plan to launch an intergovernmental portal named ‘Vacancy Status Portal’. Here the vacancy data will be uploaded by all the ministries and departments.

Under the second phase, nodal officers will be appointed by each ministry and department, who will update the portal regularly.

A target of two months has been fixed for all ministries and departments. Along with this, a full calendar has also been prepared till the end of the year 2023.

An integrated digital platform has been created for offers and appointment letters. All ministries have been directed to issue updates regarding the appointment letters to be issued in the coming months.

In the financial year 2023-24, all the ministries and departments have been instructed to inform ahead of time about the posts falling vacant due to retirement, so that those vacancies can be filled.
