Telecast of Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha stopped in Tamil Nadu? Supreme Court notice – India TV Hindi

What is the allegation?

A petition was filed in the Supreme Court against the ban on live telecast of Pran Pratistha. The petition states that the Tamil Nadu government has also banned all forms of puja, archana and annadanam (poor food) hymns on the occasion of consecration. Such arbitrary exercise of power by the State Government through police officers is a violation of the fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution.

What did the Tamil Nadu government say?

The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Tamil Nadu government and others on this entire matter. However, the Tamil Nadu government told the Supreme Court that there is no such restriction and there is no ban on live telecast of puja, archana, annadhanasma, bhajans on the occasion of “Pran Pratistha” of Lord Ram in Ayodhya today and the petition is just political. Nirmala Sitharaman made a big claim

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has alleged that the Tamil Nadu government has banned live telecast of the Pran Pratistha programs scheduled to be held on January 22, 2024. He has said that there are more than 200 temples of Lord Shri Ram in Tamil Nadu. No kind of puja, bhajan, kirtan, prasadam and annadan is allowed in the name of Shri Ram in the temples managed by HR&CE. Meanwhile, on Monday, Sitharaman said that in Kanchipuram district, 466 LED screens were arranged for the live broadcast of the Honorable Prime Minister from Ayodhya. At more than 400 of these locations, police have either confiscated screens or deployed police forces to stop the broadcast. LED suppliers are running away in fear. Anti-Hindu DMK is attacking small businesses.
