Ayodhya Ram Temple
The dark-skinned idol of Lord Shri Ram will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. One idol was to be selected from among the three idols made of Lord Rama. Now it has been decided. It is being told that two statues of Shyam Varna were made. Out of this, a dark colored idol will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum. Lord Shri Ram was of dark complexion, hence it has been decided to install such an idol.
Who made the statue?
According to the information received, the first idol of Lord Ram was made by Ganesh Bhatt. The second one was made by Satyanarayan Pandey. While the third statue has been made by Arun Yogiraj. The Trust has finalized the statue of Shyam Varna made by Arun Yogiraj. Two idols will be kept in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. An idol which was formerly in the tent is still worshipped. Whereas, the second one is newly built. The new statue will be easy to see even from a distance.
Priest Satyendra Das had given the signal
Earlier on Friday, Ramlala’s chief priest Satyendra Das, while talking to India TV, had hinted at installing the dark-skinned idol of Lord Shri Ram. He told the India team that we pray to an idol which is black in colour. Because our Lord is of dark complexion.
Consecration will take place on 22 January 2024
Let us tell you that the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is almost ready. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been made the chief host. Therefore, Lord Ramlala’s life will be consecrated in the hands of PM Modi. The grand program of Pran Pratishtha will be held on 22 January. For this, many religious gurus and leaders of many hearts have also been invited. A large number of sages and saints will also participate in the program.

A meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was also held on Friday regarding the idol of Ramlala in the sanctum sanctorum. In this meeting the selection of the statue was discussed. Temple trust secretary Champat Rai had said that the 51-inch-tall statue reflecting Lord Ram would be selected from three designs. The one who has the best divinity and childlike attitude will be selected.
PM Modi is in Ayodhya today
Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Ayodhya today before consecrating his life in Ram temple. He will gift many development works including airport in Ayodhya. PM Modi will also inaugurate the new buildings of Ayodhya Dham railway station.
