There has been an uproar due to the death of 5 people in a tragic road accident in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The accident took place on Guvalcheruvu Ghat Road on the Kadapa-Rayachoti National Highway. This accident happened when a container truck collided with a car going from Kadapa to Guvalcheruvu. The cause of the accident is not yet known. In this accident, four people in the car and the container driver died on the spot. The people in the car were returning home after performing the last rites of their relative.
The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem. However, the container driver has not been identified yet. The rescue operation is underway. The police have registered a case.
2 more workers died due to burn injuries in a fire at a drug manufacturing unit
In another case, two more workers who were burnt in a fire incident at a pharmaceutical company’s factory in Anakapalli district of Andhra Pradesh died, taking the death toll in this accident to three. A chemist and three workers from Jharkhand were seriously injured in the accident that took place on August 23 at ‘Syngen Active Ingredients Private Limited’ located in Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City (JN Pharma City) in Parawada.
Anakapalle Superintendent of Police M. Deepika Patil said, “Two more injured have died. One person died last night and the other died today (Monday) morning.” She said Oyban Khora (23), who was injured in the accident, is in critical condition. Patil said Lal Singh Poorthi (22) died on Sunday night and chemist K. Suryanarayana (35) died on Monday morning. She said that earlier Roy Angira (21) died on Saturday.
