A news is coming out from Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, in which the person whom people thought dead turned out to be alive. It reached such a limit that after receiving this information his wife committed suicide. In fact, on December 31, an AC compressor exploded in a hospital in the capital, in which a mechanic died. When the news of the mechanic’s death reached a woman’s house, she committed suicide. Now information is being received that the person who died in the accident was not the husband of the pregnant woman, but some other person. There has been a stir since this matter came to light. At the same time, the pregnant mother-in-law is holding the hospital responsible for her daughter-in-law’s death.
Couldn’t even see my son’s face
At the same time, the father of the person who was later declared deceased says that he could not even see his son’s face for the last time, because at that time the body was cremated considering it to be Dilip. In this regard, the hospital administration says that there was a mistake in identifying the body due to it being burnt excessively. At the same time, the employee through whom the dead body was asked to be identified said that I had only told him the name and not identified him.
The blast took place on 31 December
There is a hi-tech hospital and medical college in Bhubaneswar, owned by BJD leader Tirupati Panigrahi. There was an explosion in the AC compressor in this hospital on December 31, in which a mechanic died. The name of the deceased was given as Dilip Samantre and information was given to his house that he was dead. After this, on hearing the news that his 24-year-old wife Soumyashri Jena was pregnant, she committed suicide by hanging herself in her father’s house. After this, the hospital officials said that the person who lost his life due to the explosion in the AC compressor on December 31 was not Dilip Samantre, but Jyoti Ranjan Malik. Due to excessive burning, the body could not be identified and on January 1, information was sent to Dilip Samantre’s house.
Hospital CEO Smita Padhi said that a total of four people were injured in the compressor blast. Of these, two people suffered more than 90 percent burns. The names of these four are Seemanchal Biswas, Shritam Sahu, Jyotiranjan Malik and Dilip Samantri. Of these, 2 including Shritam Sahu have died.
All outsourcing agency employees
Smita Padhi further told that all of them were employees of an outsourcing agency, who were filling gas in the AC compressor of the hospital. After the blast, an employee of the outsourcing agency identified the four injured. According to Padhi, when one of the four injured people died on December 31, an employee of the same agency told us that the deceased was Dilip Samantre. After this, following the procedure, we informed the police.
This is how the matter was revealed
This matter came to light when an employee returned from the ventilator on Thursday evening and started responding. Till now the hospital administration was treating him considering him to be Jyoti Ranjan Malik. But when the doctors talked to him, he told his name as Dilip Samantre. Smita Padhi told that when confusion occurred, the treating doctors informed psychiatrist Amrit Patta Joshi. After this, Dr. Amrit asked the patient the names of his family members, which he told correctly. After this his mourning family was called there. Even during the conversation with these people, the patient answered all the questions correctly. He even recognized his nephew. Padhi further said that it was only then that we were convinced that the one who actually died was Jyoti Ranjan Malik.
AC repair agency employee gave clarification
At the same time, AC repair agency employee Sanjay Sahu, who identified the injured, also gave his clarification. He said he knew three of them and had no information about the fourth. Sanjay also said that I did not recognize him after going closer. There was a lot of chaos there after the blast. I only told the names to the hospital officials. I did not tell who it was. He told that my mental condition was also not good at that time.
Dilip Samantre’s mother is upset with her daughter-in-law’s suicide.
At the same time, Dilip Samantre’s mother Ahalya is happy with the news of her son being alive, but is worried about her daughter-in-law’s suicide. He said that when the body was given to us, it was completely covered in polythene. The body was so burnt that it was not possible to identify it. When the hospital gave us the body of Dilip, we accepted it and cremated him. My 7 months pregnant daughter-in-law became so sad that she hanged herself in her father’s house. He further said that if the hospital administration had shown even a little responsibility, my daughter-in-law would have been alive today.
i will leave them No- father of the deceased
At the same time, the father of deceased Jyoti Ranjan Malik said that his son-in-law had reached there after getting information about the incident. When he called my son by the name of his house, one of the patients admitted there had pointed out. And even when a doctor called her Jyoti, she responded. Later the family members reached the hospital. Then when I went closer to the patient and called her Dipuna, she said that she was Dilip. Then I tried to find the birthmark on his body for identification, but it was not visible. Jyoti’s father said that he could not even see his son’s face for the last time. The hospital administration is completely responsible for whatever has happened, I will not spare them. Regarding this, the hospital said that they will do a DNA test to solve this matter.
