The judge called an area of Bengaluru as Pakistan, why did the debate start in the High Court

A case related to a property owner and tenant was being heard in the Karnataka High Court. Meanwhile, the judge called the area of Bengaluru ‘Pakistan’. Not only this, he said that no matter how strict an officer is sent there, he will be beaten up. An alleged video of the judge’s statement is also going viral on social media, which has become the center of discussion.

According to media reports, the case is of 28 August. Justice V Srishanand was hearing the case. He termed the Muslim dominated area of Bangalore as Pakistan. He said, ‘Go to the Mysore Road flyover. Every rickshaw puller has 10 people… Mysore Road flyover from the market to Goripalya is in Pakistan, not in India. This is the truth… No matter how strict an officer is sent there, he will be beaten up. This is not being shown on any channel.’

According to reports, the provisions of the Rent Control Act were being discussed in the court. After this, such a statement came from the judge and later the matter reached the driver’s insurance. Justice Srishanand said that issues like lane traffic should be included in the Motor Vehicle Act. During this, he also specifically mentioned the road rules followed abroad.

He said that in foreign countries, different lanes have different speed limits and boundaries. Talking about driving at 40 kmph in a 100 kmph lane, he said, “Even abroad, the police will come to you and ask you to change the track… because if you don’t do this, then a person driving at 100 kmph will come and collide with you.”

During this time he also talked about other issues related to traffic. He said, ‘If you go to any private school today, you will see that there are more than 3 people on scooters. Principals and parents are not taking any action. You will see that autos are running with 13, 14 students… Even after the incident of death of three small children, no action is being taken on this. The police is not active.’

In fact, in this context, he had said, ‘…every auto going towards Mysore Road flyover has 10 people in it.’ And ‘Mysore flyover from Market to Goripalya is in Pakistan, not India.’
