The time has come to leave, party MPs are not happy with Justin Trudeau; started demanding his resignation

In Canada, Justin Trudeau’s government is facing a crisis after he left the government with his ally NDP. His important meeting with party MPs is going to start on Tuesday. However, Trudeau is getting disappointment from within the party as well. Liberal Party MP Alejandro Mendes said that voices are being raised within the party that the Prime Minister should now be removed.

She also praised Trudeau as the Prime Minister. She was speaking on Radio Canada. She said, I have heard this not from one or two people but from dozens of people that Justin Trudeau is not the right leader for the future. In such a situation, he should leave. Earlier, Brunswick MP Wayne Long had also advised Justin Trudeau to resign before the next general election. General elections are now to be held in Canada in October 2025. However, there is a possibility of Justin Trudeau’s government falling even before that. If his government falls, mid-term elections can be held.

The New Democratic Party (NDP) had broken its alliance with Trudeau’s party by cancelling the ‘Supply and Confidence Agreement’ on its part. The two parties formed an alliance in March 2022. There are a total of 338 seats in the House of Commons of Canada. The Liberal Party has 154 MPs. At the same time, the government has come into minority due to the withdrawal of support of the NDP.

In the caucus meeting held in British Columbia, a formal announcement can also be made to appoint former Bank of England Governor Mark Carney as a special advisor on economic matters. In a statement issued on Monday, Trudeau said, Mark has a big vision to take the country’s economy forward. He wants to strengthen the middle class.

Surveys in Canada are also showing that at present the Conservative Party is ahead of the Liberals by 15 to 20 points. In such a situation, there is a possibility of the Liberal Party losing in the next election as well. Before the elections, Justin Trudeau’s exit was anyway considered certain.
