The Waqf Board had to bow down due to the unity of Hindus, what did Giriraj Singh say on the Sanjauli Mosque dispute

Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh made a big statement on the Muslims’ offer to demolish the unauthorized part of Sanjauli Mosque in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. He said on Friday that Hindus demonstrated unity, due to which the Waqf Board had to bow down. Giriraj Singh inaugurated the Shilp Gram established in Maheva of Naini across the Yamuna in Prayagraj. Protests were held in Mandi city demanding the demolition of a part of the mosque built by encroaching on government land. Police used water cannon on Friday to disperse the protesters. Mandi Municipal Corporation has given a notice to the mosque management committee to remove the encroachment within 30 days. According to this, the mosque is built on 232 square meters of land while approval was given for only 45 square meters. The protesters first took out a march in Mandi Bazaar area and then they sat on a dharna at Seri Manch. Later when they tried to move towards the mosque, the police stopped them and used water cannon to control the situation.

Muslims themselves demolished the unauthorized part of the mosque

After Hindu organizations called for a protest march, police deployed heavy forces in Mandi and beefed up security. On Thursday, members of the Muslim community themselves demolished an unauthorized portion of a mosque located on Jail Road in the city. The mosque was built on Public Works Department land. Both the PWD and the Municipal Corporation had sent notices to the mosque management in this matter. VHP and Bajrang Dal members have demanded that all illegal structures of the Muslim community along with encroachment on government land across the state be demolished. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has appealed to the people of the state to maintain peace and brotherhood.

On the politics surrounding the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ganesh Puja at Chief Justice DY Chandrachud’s house, the Union Minister said, ‘If the people of the Tukde-Tukde gang go to Hamid’s (former Vice President) house wearing caps and are present on Bakrid, it will be very good. If someone opens the doors at night for terrorists, Kejriwal, Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh will like it.’ He said that if someone goes to the Chief Justice’s house for Ganesh Puja, they feel bad. That is why Akhilesh Yadav is abusing the Mahants today. He abused Gorakshapeeth.

‘Kejriwal’s entire government is mired in corruption’

Reacting to Kejriwal getting bail from the Supreme Court, Giriraj Singh said, ‘These people steeped in corruption are released on bail and roam from street to street with 10 people as if they have fought for freedom. Kejriwal had taken an oath in front of the country to fight against corruption, had taken an oath on his son. Today, Kejriwal’s entire government is mired in corruption.’

‘Tejashwi Yadav is also a member of the tukde-tukde gang’

BJP leader Giriraj Singh took a dig at RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar and said, ‘Tejashwi Yadav is also a member of the tukde-tukde gang. Rahul Gandhi abuses by lying abroad, while Tejashwi abuses by lying in Bihar. Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav should wear a locket in the name of Nitish Kumar. If Lalu had not contested the elections with Nitish in 2015, Lalu’s party’s seats would have gone below 22.’
