There is no need to make a CM candidate before the elections, Sharad Pawar is giving tension to Uddhav; told the future formula

Sharad Pawar on Wednesday reiterated that the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) should not announce its CM face for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. Former Union Minister Sharad Pawar said that there is no need for the party to contest the assembly elections with a chief ministerial candidate. Pawar, president of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar), told reporters here that a decision regarding who will be the Chief Minister can be taken after the election results. Let us tell you that the MVA includes Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar).

Sharad Pawar is giving tension to Uddhav

Sharad Pawar’s statement comes at a time when Shiv Sena (Uttar Pradesh) president Uddhav Thackeray has insisted on the MVA presenting a chief ministerial candidate before the assembly elections. Uddhav insisted that instead of adopting the formula of the party winning the most seats in the assembly elections claiming the chief minister’s post, the Maha Vikas Aghadi should declare the chief ministerial candidate before the elections. However, Uddhav’s allies do not seem to be openly supporting his statement.

What is Sharad Pawar’s formula?

Sharad Pawar has again said that the chief ministerial candidate will be decided on the basis of which party in the alliance wins the most seats. He said that he wants the MVA to complete the seat sharing process and start election campaign as soon as possible. Pawar said, “MVA leaders should start talks between September 7 and 9.” He also said that he hopes that the election process will be completed by the second week of November. Pawar said that the talks between the MVA should also include the Peasants and Workers Party (PWP), Communist Party of India (CPI) and Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M). He said, “These parties have influence in some areas of the state and they had helped the MVA in the Lok Sabha elections.”
