It has also been claimed in the report that the officers who were working at that time are still working, there were many shortcomings in their work which have come to the fore during this investigation.
A senior NCB official said that despite the lack of evidence in this case, the investigation was being done and the matter was being taken forward. In this case, statements of 65 people have been recorded 4 times, the reason for this is that these people were changing their statements frequently. For this reason, the statements of many people have been recorded in the camera.
What is in the report of the Special Inquiry Team?
During the investigation of this case, some such things have come before the team which revealed that there were shortcomings in the investigation of other cases as well. Sources have claimed that reports have been sent in all these cases. A senior official said that the matter is being investigated whether money has been transacted in these cases, but the investigation in this angle is yet to be completed as the complainant has changed his answer.
Role of NCB officials found suspicious
The investigation of the case also revealed that Aryan Khan was deliberately targeted, but why this was done is still a puzzle. The investigation team of NCB has found the role of 7 to 8 NCB officers suspicious in this case. For which departmental inquiry has been initiated. The suspicious role of these officers has come to the fore in two more cases and most importantly, permission has been sought from senior officials to take action against those who are outside the NCB.
Aryan Khan has got clean chit
Earlier in May this year, NCB had given clean chit to Aryan Khan saying that sufficient evidence has not been found against Aryan and five others. Aryan Khan was among 20 people who were arrested from a cruise ship in Mumbai in October last year. Drugs were also found with some of those arrested. In November, the NCB headquarters removed Sameer Wankhede from the investigation. Wankhede and his unit were accused of serious lapses.
