Lawyers have demanded leave in courts across the country on the day of Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony to be held on January 22 in Ayodhya. Bar Council of India (BCI) President Manan Kumar Mishra has written a letter to Supreme Court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud. It has been said in the letter that January 22 should be declared a holiday in the Supreme Court, all the High Courts and district courts of the country.

Senior Supreme Court advocate and Bar Council Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra said, the holiday on January 22 will give lawyers and court staff an opportunity to attend or visit other related events in Ayodhya and across the country. He further said in the letter that the matter requiring urgent hearing can be accommodated by special arrangement or rescheduled to the next working day.
Appeal to the Chief Justice to grant leave as per the sentiments of the people
The Bar Council Chairman said that I pray to the Chief Justice that you will consider this request with full sympathy and take appropriate steps to celebrate this historic occasion in accordance with the sentiments of the people.
More than 7000 people will participate in the program
Let us tell you that preparations for the Pran Pratishtha program are in full swing in Ayodhya. More than 7,000 people, including PM Modi, CM Yogi and politicians, saints and celebrities from across the country, are expected to attend the grand inauguration. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the event, in which around 100 representatives from different countries will participate.
Golden doors have been installed in the sanctum sanctorum
According to the announcement of the temple trust on Monday, the installation of all the golden doors in the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Shri Ramlala Sarkar has been completed. The seven-day rituals ahead of the ceremony began in Ayodhya on Tuesday. Ram Lalla created by Mysore artist Arun Yogiraj has been selected for the installation.
