There will be heavy rains in these states, how will the weather be this week? IMD’s latest update – Hindustan News Hub

Rain alert issued in some states

Monsoon is going to leave the country in a few days. Before this, rain continues in some states. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in different parts of many states including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand for the next few days. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains are likely at different places in South Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh as well as West Bengal and Odisha.

Red alert issued in these states

The Meteorological Department has said that a deep depression has formed in the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh, due to which a rain alert has been issued in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during September 15 and 16 and in Assam and Meghalaya during September 18 to 20. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for both the states of West Bengal and Odisha, warning of heavy rain. An orange alert for rain has also been issued in Jharkhand.

How will the weather be this week?

In the northwestern parts of the country, heavy rains have been predicted over eastern Uttar Pradesh on September 16 and 17 and over western Uttar Pradesh on September 17. While in South India, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe, Lakshadweep may receive scattered to widespread light to moderate rains, while the rest of the areas may receive scattered rains during the week.

The weather department has advised fishermen to avoid venturing into the northern Bay of Bengal and Bangladesh, West Bengal and Odisha coasts till the morning of September 16 as high seas are likely over the northern Bay of Bengal and West Bengal-Odisha coasts till the morning of September 16.

A yellow alert has been issued for strong winds and rain accompanied by thunder at different places in six districts of Himachal Pradesh from Monday to Wednesday. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the spell of rain will continue in the state till September 21. The weather is expected to remain dry in Rajasthan for the next two-three days.

Delhi witnessed light rain on Sunday. According to the weather department, the rainy season will end in Delhi from Monday and the monsoon will bid farewell to the national capital between 19 and 25 September. It is predicted that it will be partly cloudy on Monday. There is no chance of rain. Meteorologists say that the monsoon is now on its way out.
