This anchor started crying while giving the news of Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah’s death, video went viral; Which channel is it?

A news anchor from Lebanon’s Al-Mayadeen television became emotional Saturday while announcing the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. With the news of Nasrallah’s death, tears started flowing from the anchor’s eyes, and the video went viral on social media within no time. Al-Mayadeen is widely considered a pro-Hezbollah channel.

Hezbollah confirmed that Nasrallah, 64, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Lebanese capital Beirut. During the live broadcast of this news, the anchor was trying to control herself, but while giving the news of Nasrallah’s death, her voice started breaking and she could not control her emotions.

Hassan Nasrallah has led Hezbollah since the early 1990s and transformed the organization into a powerful political and military force. He was a close ally of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and Hezbollah has long been considered a key part of Iran’s Middle East-wide “resistance”, primarily aimed at opposing Israel and the United States.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah group on Saturday confirmed the death of its leader and one of the group’s founders, Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli airstrike. Nasrallah was killed in Israeli air strikes in Beirut a day earlier. A statement issued on Saturday said Nasrallah had “joined the ranks of his martyred comrades.” According to the statement, Hezbollah pledged to “continue the war against the enemy and in support of Palestine.”
