This is unfortunate; Supreme Court got angry at CBI when questions were raised on judiciary

The Supreme Court has reprimanded the CBI over a petition in the case of post-election violence in West Bengal. Regarding this petition raising questions on the judiciary in West Bengal, the Supreme Court said that it is very unfortunate. The CBI had filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the shifting of 45 cases to a court outside Bengal. The bench of Justice AS Oka and Pankaj Mithal said that in this way the CBI is tarnishing the image of the judiciary. According to the information, the CBI had said that during the hearing in the court of West Bengal, hostility is shown. The Supreme Court has called this allegation objectionable and ordered the withdrawal of the petition.

The bench told Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, the petition states that the judges are granting bail in an incorrect manner. You are putting all the courts in the dock and want to call them biased. At the same time, you are trying to damage the image of the judges there. This is unacceptable. Let us tell you that after the order of the Calcutta High Court, the CBI is investigating the incidents of violence after the elections. The agency says that the atmosphere of the state is not good. In such a situation, there is a need to send the cases out of the state for a fair hearing.
