The Congress government also liked the Yogi model

The Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has also liked the Yogi model so much that it is also going to adopt the Yogi model. Now in Himachal also, like Uttar Pradesh, it will be mandatory for the street vendors to put up nameplates. Now the owner’s ID will be put on the street vendors so that people do not face any kind of problem. For this, instructions have been issued in the meeting of the state’s Urban Development Department and Municipal Corporation. This information has been given by Sukhu government minister Vikramaditya Singh.

Himachal Pradesh minister Vikramaditya Singh said, “We held a meeting with the UD (urban development) and municipal corporation. To ensure that hygienic food is sold, a decision has been taken for all street vendors…especially those selling food items…People expressed their concerns and doubts and considering this, we have decided to implement a similar policy in UP, making it mandatory that vendors will have to display their name and ID…Every shopkeeper and street vendor will have to display their identity…”
