Sources say that former Chief Minister of the state and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) stalwart Champai Soren may join the BJP along with six MLAs. He has left for Delhi from Kolkata with the MLAs. He is said to be in constant touch with the BJP. In fact, Champai’s displeasure with JMM was seen last month. Hemant Soren had reached his house to convince him. During a meeting, he became emotional, his eyes became moist. Those tears are now being seen as a prophecy of rebellion.
Hemant Soren had come to persuade
Actually, after going to jail in the alleged land scam, Hemant Soren resigned from the post of CM. Then he expressed confidence in Champai, famous as Kolhan Tiger, and handed over the seat of Chief Minister to him. But after Hemant Soren came out of jail, Champai resigned from the post of CM. It was told that he was not happy with this decision. A day before the resignation, Champai had suddenly cancelled all his programs. That day Hemant Soren also reached his house to meet him. Both of them talked for about 20 minutes.
Those tears had predicted rebellion
A meeting was held on July 3 between the leaders of the ‘India’ alliance regarding the resignation of Champai Soren. Champai Soren became emotional in this discussion. His eyes were seen moist. Actually, assembly elections are to be held in Jharkhand in a few months. In such a situation, Champai did not want him to resign from the post of CM in the middle. It is said that he got angry with this decision of the party. In such a situation, if Kolhan Tiger leaves Hemant Soren and joins BJP, then it can be a big blow to JMM. Champai Soren has a lot of influence in the Kolhan region. Actually, Champai is one of the strong leaders of JMM. He is also very close to the Soren family. No leader had opposed him being made the CM.

Sources claim that Champai Soren is in touch with former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan. A total of 6 MLAs including Chamra Linda, Lobin Hembram are also coming to Delhi with him. It is being told that Champai has also met BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari in Kolkata. However, no official statement has come from JMM or BJP regarding these speculations yet.
