Sanjay Singh is considered close to former Indian Wrestling Association president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Let us tell you that many wrestlers had demonstrated against Brij Bhushan accusing him of sexual exploitation. Brij Bhushan had accused these wrestlers of doing politics against him. However, the new President of WFI Sanjay Singh has also sent a big message to the wrestlers through gestures as soon as he won the elections.

Sanjay Singh, an aide of former WFI chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, announced as soon as he became the new president of the Wrestling Federation of India that national camps will be organized for wrestling. At the same time, he also said that wrestlers who want to do politics can do politics, those who want to do wrestling will do wrestling. He said that politics will be answered in the political arena. He has said that in future, nationals will also be organized for wrestlers.

Who is Sanjay Singh?

Sanjay Kumar Singh who will now serve as the new President of WFI is also known as Bablu. He is originally from Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh. The name of his village is Jhansi. Sanjay Singh has a long association with wrestling. His father and grandfather used to organize riots. He has been an office bearer in both the Wrestling Association of Uttar Pradesh and the National Wrestling Association.

He got the responsibility of the post of Vice President

In a major development in the Indian Wrestling Federation, apart from Sanjay Singh being elected as the President of the Federation, AK Saha, Jai Prakash, Kartar Singh and Shri Fauni have been elected to the role of Vice President. Also, Lokant has been elected as the General Secretary of the wrestling organization.
