A procession was also taken out from the temple to the mosque on Monday. During this period the protesters also clashed with the police. Meanwhile, a Muslim organization has said that no mosque in the state is illegal, but problems are being faced due to the delay in approving the map in the government records.
Thousands of people participated in the protest organized under ‘Hindu Dharma Jagran Yatra’. A procession was taken out from Hanuman Temple to Akhara Mosque amid tight security. The protesters were holding saffron flags and posters and banners in their hands. A large number of women also participated in the demonstration. Women participated wearing traditional clothes and musical instruments were also played.
