A 30-year-old woman along with her four children consumed poison on Monday afternoon in village Bangaon in Fatehabad district of Haryana. The incident came to light around 5 pm when the woman’s mother-in-law Savitri Devi returned home from the farm. The woman and her four children were immediately brought to a private hospital in critical condition. Woman Kiran and her two daughters, 11-year-old Nishu and 8-year-old Neetu, died during treatment in the hospital. At the same time, the woman’s 5-year-old daughter Ananya and 2-year-old son Kashish have been referred to Hisar. On receiving information about the incident, Bhattukalan police station reached the spot and started investigation into the incident. The police have taken the bodies of the dead and sent them to the civil hospital for post-mortem.
Giving information in the matter, Omprakash, SHO of Bhattukalan police station said that in the preliminary investigation, it has come to the fore that the woman Kiran’s husband Vakilchand had died on August 8, 2021 and after that Kiran used to be very upset due to her taking full responsibility of the family. . The family is prosperous and there is no information about any kind of financial crisis or any quarrel etc. Worried about family responsibilities after the shock of her husband’s death on Monday evening, Kiran along with her children swallowed a poisonous substance in which the woman and two children died. The other 2 children have been referred to Hisar.
Such information has come to the fore that Kiran had deliberately sent her mother-in-law Savitri Devi to the field to carry out the incident. After this, when mother-in-law Savitri Devi had returned home, children and Kiran were found lying unconscious at home. After this the woman informed the people of the neighborhood and then everyone was brought to the hospital.
