Ramlila staged in Haridwar jail.
Haridwar: Two prisoners escaped from the district jail during Ramlila, which has become a topic of discussion. It is being told that both the prisoners were posing as monkeys of Vanar Sena in Ramlila. Both of them had set out to search for Mother Sita, but in the meantime they themselves ran away. When the search for both of them was started, it was found that both the prisoners had escaped by jumping over the jail wall. At present the police has been informed about the incident. SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal said that both the prisoners are being searched and both will be caught as soon as possible.
Video went viral on social media
A video is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which it is being said that two prisoners have escaped from Haridwar jail during Ramlila. While sharing the video of Ramlila on social media platform X, a user wrote in the caption, ‘This is the same prisoner who became Hanuman ji. Amazing happened in Haridwar jail. Ramlila was being staged. Mother Sita was abducted. The prisoners turned into monkeys were searching while crying. Since they became monkeys and managed to escape by climbing the wall themselves.
Prisoners escaped by climbing stairs
On the whole issue, Haridwar’s SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal said that around 6.30 in the morning, we had received information through the control room that two prisoners, one of whom was a convicted and one under trial, had escaped from here at night. They have planted it and absconded. When the information was given this morning, a case has been registered under the prescribed sections. After searching them, whatever legal action is required will be taken.
In what cases were the prisoners detained?
He told that one of the two prisoners, Pankaj, is previously convicted under 302, he is a prisoner convicted in a murder case in Mangalore. The second prisoner is Ramkumar, who is currently under trial, he was caught in a kidnapping case. Both are being searched continuously, soon both will be arrested.
Ladder was placed near the construction site
SSP told that yesterday a Ramlila program was going on in the evening. Taking advantage of the fact that there was a ladder lying at the construction site, these two prisoners left from here at night by placing the same ladder on the wall.
