Fast bowler Umran Malik has recovered from dengue and has now started preparing for the Duleep Trophy. The Duleep Trophy is scheduled to start from 5 September 2024 at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh and M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he conceded 68 runs in eight overs in the only match and could not take a single wicket. Umran did not get many opportunities in the last season of IPL as well. He conceded 15 runs in one match. The 24-year-old has participated in ten ODIs and eight T20 Internationals for India and has taken 24 wickets in both formats.
