New Delhi: Before Diwali, the Yogi government has announced bonus for its employees. The state government has increased the rate of Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) from the current 34% to 38% with effect from July 1, 2022. UP CM’s office announced on Twitter, “Keeping in mind the wider interest of state employees and pensioners/family pensioners, CM Yogi has increased the current rate of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief by 34 per cent with effect from 01.07. 2022. It has been decided to do 38 per cent.

The UP government in a separate tweet announced bonus to every employee for the financial year 2021-22. Keeping in view the wider interest of the employees of the state, CM Yogi has decided to provide ₹6,908 bonus to each employee for the financial year 2021-22.
