UPSC 2022 Result: Father shopkeeper, mother ANM, daughter created history by becoming IAS

Bageshwar. Kalpana Pandey of Garud of Bageshwar has passed the UPSC Civil Services exam. Bageshwar’s daughter has secured 102nd rank. With this achievement of Kalpana, there is a wave of happiness in the district including the entire Katyur Valley. Kalpana, a resident of Khaderia village of Garuda’s far-flung area, has brought laurels to the entire region by passing the UPSC exam. Kalpana’s father told that Kalpana is the youngest of three sisters. Kalpana’s father Ramesh Chandra Pandey runs a shop in Garud Bazar, while mother Manju Pandey is an ANM at CHC Baijnath.

Kalpana received her education till class 10th from St. Adams Public School, Bageshwar. After that she went to Delhi for further studies. There is a wave of happiness in the whole village due to this achievement of Kalpana. Writer Mohan Joshi of Dharwani village, Advocate DK Joshi of Nainital High Court said that Kalpana is a source of inspiration for the youth. He told that Kalpana has got the distinction of becoming the first IAS of her village.

Describing it as a big achievement for the area, former Principal Nandan Singh Almiya and social worker Harish Joshi said that today the children of Garuda are moving forward in every field. He has asked the parents to provide a good environment to the children. On this achievement of Kalpana, the villagers expressed happiness by distributing sweets. Expressing happiness, Javed Siddiqui, Principal Razia Siddiqui, Manager of St. Adams Public School, has congratulated Kalpana and said that Kalpana Pandey was promising in studies since childhood. This achievement has brought laurels to the school and the entire district.
