VIDEO: Our responsibility is not over yet… Railway Minister became emotional as soon as he spoke

Balasore (Odisha). Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said late on Sunday night that his aim is to ensure that the missing people in the Odisha train accident can be found by their family members as soon as possible. Vaishnav said that his responsibility is not over yet. The Railway Minister looked emotional while talking during this. 288 passengers have died in the accident. At the same time, there are more than 1000 injured, out of which 56 are in critical condition.

The incident took place after Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express and Bengaluru-Howrah Express derailed and collided with a goods train in Balasore district on Friday at around 7 pm. There were about 2500 passengers in both the passenger trains. 21 coaches were derailed and severely damaged in the accident, trapping hundreds of passengers. Both the passenger trains were running at high speed and experts have cited this as one of the main reasons for the high number of casualties.
