Divyang Shahzadi, a resident of Banda in UP, who is imprisoned in Abu Dhabi jail of UAE, will be hanged on 21 September. The UAE court has fixed 21 September as the date for hanging Shahzadi. As soon as this news was received, there was an uproar in Shahzadi’s house in Banda district. On hearing about the death sentence, Shahzadi’s old parents have cried and pleaded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to save their daughter.

She became friends with Uzair, a resident of Agra, through Facebook. She kept getting trapped in Uzair’s love trap. She did not know that Uzair was involved in smuggling. Shahzadi’s face was burnt and Uzair called her to Agra for treatment. From there, he sent Shahzadi to Dubai to Faiz and Nadia, a couple originally from Agra and currently living in Dubai, in the name of getting her treated. There, Shahzadi had to work as a maid in Faiz and Nadia’s house.

Faiz and his wife Nadia used to torture Shahzadi. Meanwhile, Faiz’s 4-year-old son died during illness, for which Faiz and Nadia blamed Shahzadi, after which she was arrested. Shahzadi, who is in jail, was sentenced to death by a Dubai court four months ago for the murder of Faiz and Nadia’s child. Shahzadi’s family has filed a complaint in Banda CJM court regarding her punishment. On the court’s order, a case has also been registered against the accused Uzair and the couple living in Dubai.

According to Shahzadi’s family, Shahzadi has been allowed to talk to her family in Abu Dhabi jail. Shahzadi called her father and told him that the court order states that the date for Shahzadi’s death sentence has been fixed for this month i.e. 21st September. While talking to her father on phone, the victim Shahzadi has talked about seeking help from social workers and political parties and said that she wants to bring the atrocities committed against her in front of everyone after being released from Abu Dhabi jail.

In fact, Agra resident Uzair first trapped Shehzadi in his love trap through Facebook and then, in the name of getting her treated abroad, he took possession of her jewellery, disability card, ATM card and all her bank deposits. After this, she was sold to a couple living in Dubai, Faiz and Nadia. Shehzadi was given the responsibility of raising Faiz and Nadia’s son. She also kept working as a domestic servant. One day the child’s health deteriorated and he died, on which Faiz and Nadia accused Shehzadi of murder. After this incident, the Dubai court convicted Shehzadi and sentenced her to death.
On the request of Shehzadi’s family, Banda CJM Bhagwan Das Gupta has registered a case against accused Uzair and the couple Faiz and Nadia under serious sections of human trafficking and fraud. Orders have also been given for the arrest of accused Uzair, a resident of Agra, and the couple living in Dubai. The police are also trying to arrest them, but on the other hand, the tears of Shehzadi’s family are not stopping as the time of hanging has been fixed.
