New Delhi: The temperature is continuously falling in the surrounding areas including the country’s capital Delhi. In view of the heavy rains in many states, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert. Heavy rain has been warned in Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu during the next 24 hours. Heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal on October 24 and 25.

Heavy rain alert in Odisha-West Bengal

IMD has predicted heavy rain in various areas of Odisha on October 23 and October 26. An alert has been issued regarding heavy rain in most areas in Gangetic West Bengal on 23, 24 and 25 October. On October 23, there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in South and North 24 Parganas, East and West Medinipur, Jhargram, Howrah. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in Jharkhand on October 24.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsingpur, Puri and Khorada districts of Odisha. There is a possibility of torrential rain at isolated places in Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsingpur on October 23. On Thursday, there may be heavy rain in Kendujhar, Jajpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Khorada and Puri districts of Odisha.

The weather is going to change in Delhi-Haryana

The effect of cold will start becoming visible by Diwali in North India including Delhi-Haryana. There may be a change in the weather from October 24 due to north-westerly winds. Due to this, snowfall is also possible on the mountains. Due to this, there will be a decrease in the temperature of the plains. Day and night temperatures may start falling from October 25 onwards. Due to this, cold may increase. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear sky during the day today. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 35 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of Delhi may drop rapidly after Diwali. This week the sky will be clear in Delhi and there will be bright sunshine. According to IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi this week will be between 34 to 35 degrees Celsius.
