Meanwhile, heavy rains are very likely over Northeast India during the next five days and over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on August 27 and 28. According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in western and central parts of India during the next few days. At the same time, there is a possibility of widespread light and moderate rain and thundershowers at isolated places over Vidarbha, East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh between August 26 and 28.
According to the Meteorological Department, on August 26, Chhattisgarh, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Andaman and Nicobar Islands There is a possibility of heavy rain. There is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till August 29. On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and Meghalaya on Saturday.
Talking about the national capital Delhi, the Meteorological Department has said that good rains will be seen in the next few days. There has not been much rain in Delhi this month in August. According to IMD, the rain in Delhi can be very heavy and may continue continuously for a few days. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain in the western Himalayan region till August 29. There is a possibility of heavy rain or lightning in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on August 28-29.
