New Delhi. These days it is raining heavily in many states of South India. Due to heavy rains in many states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, people have been facing a lot of problems. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert that there may be heavy rains in some states for the next 3 days. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy to very heavy rains in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep. At the same time, heavy rains may occur in some areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Mahe in the next 48 hours.

Strong winds can blow in many areas

According to the Meteorological Department, winds with a speed of 45 to 55 kmph can occur in South Andhra Pradesh-Tamil Nadu-Puducherry, Lakshadweep and Comorin areas. Apart from this, strong winds can occur in some areas of Lakshadweep, Maldives-Comorin region and Kerala in the next 25 hours. In view of the threat of rain and strong wind, the Meteorological Department has warned fishermen off Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Sri Lanka coasts, Gulf of Mannar and adjoining Comorin region as well as southwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal. Advised not to go. Along with this, fishermen have been advised not to go to the Arabian Sea and the coasts of Kerala, Lakshadweep, Maldives for the next two days.

Chance of rain with snowfall in the mountains

The Meteorological Department has told in the latest update that the effect of a new Western Disturbance is being seen. Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh are likely to receive snowfall and rain in the next 48 hours. Due to changing weather, there will be a fall in the temperature in these states, due to which the cold may increase further.

On the other hand, on November 16, a new low pressure area is likely to form over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea. Due to this, there will not be any major change in the minimum temperature during the next 3 days. At the same time, in some parts of northwest India, there may be a drop of 2 to 4 degree Celsius in temperature.
