Welcome to the students stranded in Ukraine returning home, festive atmosphere at Delhi airport

Under Operation Ganga, the process of bringing Indian students trapped in Ukraine to India is going on. When the fifth flight of Operation Ganga reached Delhi airport, the students were welcomed with loud noise. Parents, friends, families were seen gazing since morning, waiting for their relatives to come out. Some were waiting for these students with bouquets and some flower garlands.

After the arrival of the students, the families started crying with hugs, everyone thanked the Government of India

The students who came back from Ukraine got emotional telling the situation there. The students told that bombing was happening around their house. There was no hope that they would be able to escape, it was a long way to get out of there. A student says that thousands of children have been standing on the Romanian border for two days to go home. There is a scuffle among the students. There is no food facility or water. Due to lack of basic facilities, students have to go through hell-like conditions. The returned students are now worried for their fellow students who are still stuck there.

The families of the students who returned to India today looked very happy and emotional. The mother of a student says that due to anxiety, the family was neither able to eat nor sleep. Today the son has come back, then I am relieved. Many thanks to the Government of India who introduced us to the children.
