New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the completely free Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. This hospital cum medical college and research center located in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka is being built at a cost of Rs 400 crore. This will prove to be a milestone in the direction of providing absolutely free medical and health services to the people coming from rural areas.
Explain that this medical college will be built in a total area of 3,25, 000 square feet with a teaching hospital and an academic block, apart from hostels, auditorium, staff accommodation and sports facilities. In this Madhusudan Sai Medical Science and Research Institute, such students of rural India who lack facilities will be able to study medicine. Prashanti Balmandir Trust will provide all the facilities to the students who pass NEET after admission here.
Inaugurating the institute, Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ‘This land of Muddenahalli has given a wonderful example of service to this country in the form of Sathya Sai Gram. The mission of selfless human service going on here through nutrition, education and health is really wonderful. This mission has been strengthened by the establishment of this free medical college. Shri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences will dedicate many new talented doctors to the nation every year in the service of crores of people of the country.
