Marriage can happen anytime, but it is important that we are happy today.’ But the important aspect is that the birth rate in South Korea is continuously decreasing. Last year, South Korea broke its own record. Sociologists of South Korea say that today’s young generation wants to spend more and save less. This is the opposite of the youth of other countries. Jung Jae-hoon, professor of sociology at Seoul Women’s University, said that today’s young generation is running after status.
These people feel that they should spend a lot and live a good life. The youth are making their own goals and are in a race to achieve them. In this race, they do not think about their family and children. Not only this, South Korea has also increased the interest rates to curb the spending of the youth, but has not been able to control it. Now a separate ministry will be formed for the purpose of making policies to establish population balance.
