The popularity of opposition leader in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has increased tremendously not only in UP but in the whole country. The new survey revealed that whether it is the matter of becoming the Prime Minister of the country after Modi or the favorite leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi is ahead in both. However, the most popular Chief Minister of the country is still UP CM Yogi Adityanath. According to the survey that came before the by-elections on ten seats in UP, there is a close competition between India and NDA alliance in UP. If the elections are held now, the result is expected to be similar to the Lok Sabha elections. Both NDA and India alliances are competing with each other in terms of seats and vote percentage.
C Voter has conducted this survey in collaboration with India Today to know the mood of the country. According to the survey, the popularity of two boys from UP, i.e. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, has increased. In the survey, Rahul Gandhi has become the first choice for the post of Prime Minister after Modi. Rahul has defeated leaders like Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath and Nitin Gadkari. 28.6 percent people have chosen Rahul Gandhi as their first choice for PM and 20 percent people have chosen Amit Shah. 18.8 percent people have chosen Yogi Adityanath and 13.2 percent people have chosen Nitish Gadkari as their choice for Prime Minister. After this comes the name of Rajnath Singh and former MP CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
Similarly, as the leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi is the choice of 32.2 percent people. After Rahul Gandhi, people have liked none other than Akhilesh Yadav. That is, in the eyes of the people, the pair of two boys is ahead in this matter. Rahul Gandhi has been liked by 32.3 percent people and Akhilesh by 7.5 percent people. Whereas when the same question was asked to the people in February, Rahul Gandhi’s name was taken by 21.2 percent people. Akhilesh was also the choice of only 4.2 percent people at that time.
According to the survey, if elections are held in UP today, NDA may get 39 seats, India may get 40 seats and others may get one seat. However, BSP is not included in others. This means that BSP will not open its account again. If we compare today’s survey with the Lok Sabha elections held two months ago, India alliance seems to be facing a slight loss.
Similarly, if we talk about vote percentage, NDA is getting 45.5 percent votes, India 43 percent and others 11.5 percent votes. In the Lok Sabha elections, NDA got 43.31 percent votes, India 43.52 percent and others got 13.17 percent votes. In this also, NDA is getting more benefit than before in the Lok Sabha elections. Talking about seats, BJP is getting 35 seats, RLD 3, Apna Dal 1, SP 34 and Congress 6 seats. BSP is not getting any seat. In the Lok Sabha elections, NDA got 36 seats, SP 37 and Congress got 6 seats.
