When he asked for money for a haircut, he was shot, a Dalit family narrated their ordeal to Rahul Gandhi in the cell

Leader of Opposition and Rae Bareli MP Rahul Gandhi reached village Pichwariya Majra Sisni Bhuwalpur of Nasirabad police station area amidst heavy rain at 1.40 pm. He directly met mother of deceased Dalit Arjun Pasi, Shiv Dulari, in her room. Shiv Dulari was accompanied by National President of Bhim Yuva Sangthan, Devendra Bhim Raj. Rahul Gandhi talked to both of them for about half an hour. The mother narrated the entire incident. She said that he used to get her hair cut for free again and again. When she asked for money, they forcibly took her away from the house and shot her.

Shiv Dulari said that on the night of 11 August, the men of the chief came and forcibly took Arjun with them. He was shot 50 meters away from the house. The police is also not supporting the victims. The police is not arresting the main accused. When Bhim Yuva Sangathan came forward for justice, a case was registered against them under serious sections. National President of Bhim Yuva Sangathan Devendra Bhim Raj said that injustice is being done to the society.

No matter how many cases the police file against us, we will ensure justice for the victim. Devendra said that earlier a demand of Rs. 1 crore, arms license, 5 bighas of land was made from the government, but that demand has not been fulfilled yet. The earning youth of the family is gone. The family is now facing problems.

‘He was murdered when he asked for money for a haircut’

The mother of the deceased Arjun Pasi told Rahul that her younger son cuts hair. The accused came to her shop 5-6 times to get his hair cut. The last time he came to get his hair cut was at Gudiya’s shop. After cutting the hair, he did not pay the money. Then he demanded the money. The mother told that after this, her brother was killed. Rahul said that injustice has been done against the family, against the society. Therefore, they should get justice. The victim will get justice. It is a Dalit family, therefore no action is being taken. He has come here to protect the Dalits.

On this occasion, Congress State President Ajay Rai, Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma, Mohtaram Naqvi, Rajwadi Prasad, Rae Bareli District President Pankaj Tiwari, former District President VK Shukla, Vijay Shankar Agnihotri, Atul Singh were present.

Rahul offered the balm of trust to the victims

On Tuesday, amid heavy rain, the convoy of vehicles stopped in front of the house of Dalit Shiv Dulari in Pichwaria village and Rahul Gandhi went inside the room of the house. When Rahul put his hand on Shiv Dulari’s back, the hope of getting justice was clearly visible in Shiv Dulari’s eyes. Rahul stayed for half an hour and instilled confidence in the family and said that he will stand with them until they get justice.

Arjun Pasi was shot dead on 11th August in Pichwaria village of Nasirabad police station area. Out of the seven named accused, six have been arrested and sent to jail. Bhim Yuva Sangathan had protested for the arrest of the main accused. Along with this, Savarna Army also protested against the allegation of implicating innocent people and demanded not to take any action under pressure.

As per the schedule, Rahul Gandhi was to come to meet the victim’s family on Tuesday. Rahul Gandhi reached Pichwariya village about two hours late. When Rahul’s convoy reached, it was raining heavily. But he did not stop and went to Arjun’s house as soon as he arrived.

Family has hope

When Arjun Pasi’s mother started telling her story, Rahul consoled her by putting his hand on her back. The tension on Arjun’s mother Shiv Dulani’s face lessened a bit after Rahul’s assurance. Rahul asked her every single thing and said that they will fight till they get justice. He and his party will provide full support. After Rahul left, Shiv Dulani said that whatever Rahul has said, he will definitely fulfill it. A lot of hope has arisen. Justice will definitely be served.

There is a possibility of political temperature rising due to the murder

After Rahul Gandhi’s arrival in Arjun Pasi murder case, the political temperature is expected to rise. Earlier, a high level delegation of SP has come here. They also met the victim’s family. Senior Congress leaders have already met this family. Bhim Yuva Sangathan and Savarna Army have also taken to the streets regarding this case.

Information given to Rahul about implicating innocent people

Fursatganj. Rahul Gandhi reached Fursatganj airport on Tuesday by a special plane. Congress leaders already present here welcomed Rahul Gandhi. Case filed against 60 people for attacking MLA
