Sujit, son of Dharmendra, resident of village Onha of Kurra police station area, gave a complaint letter to the DM and CMO and informed that on September 18, his wife Sanjali was admitted to Karhal CHC. The nurse named Jyoti on duty here was negligent in delivering the baby. When she complained, Asha also misled her and called the staff nurse a doctor. On the morning of 19 September, his wife gave birth to a child. As soon as Jyoti gave birth to the child, she started demanding a sum of Rs 5100 from him. When she refused to give the money, they kept her child wrapped in a cloth on a table and did not give the child to her until the money was received.
The child did not get proper treatment during delivery: After about 40 minutes she was given money and then she got the child. But by then the child’s condition deteriorated and the child was referred to Saifai. The child was declared dead in Saifai Hospital. There the doctor told that the child did not get proper treatment at the time of delivery. Asha Sheela and staff nurse Jyoti are threatening her and her entire family if she does not compromise in this matter. Due to the negligence of these two, his child lost his life and his wife is in shock.
CMO said, action will be taken against the culprits in the case
CMO RC Gupta took this matter seriously and has formed a three-member team of ACMO Dr. Sanjeev Rao Bahadur, ACMO Dr. Vijendra Singh and DPM Sanjeev Verma to investigate the entire matter. It has been asked to submit the report of the entire matter in four days. CMO said that the incident happened on September 18. The victim did not complain in time after the incident, but still he will take strict action against whoever is found guilty in the incident. All doctors and staff have been instructed to ensure that such cases do not occur in any other hospital.
Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak said that I have received information about the matter. Instructions have been given to investigate the negligence of the health center Karhal. The CMO has formed a three-member committee. It has been asked to submit the report within a week. Action will be taken as per rules.
