Now BJP MP and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has responded regarding giving statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
What did Kishan Reddy say?
In response to a question related to granting statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said on Friday that the central government will respond at the right time to the demand for restoration of statehood. However, G Kishan Reddy clearly said that Article 370 will not be restored in Jammu and Kashmir.
BJP’s performance is commendable
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said that the performance of Bharatiya Janata Party in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections has been commendable. He said that BJP has got more seats in the state than before. Let us tell you that BJP had made G Kishan Reddy in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. He said that due to the efforts of the Central Government, the elections in the Union Territory were conducted peacefully. At the same time, there was no need for re-polling.
What was the result of the assembly elections?
Elections have been held in three phases for the 90-seat assembly in Jammu and Kashmir. In the results revealed on October 8, 42 candidates of National Conference, 29 of BJP, 6 of Congress, 3 of PDP and seven independent candidates have won. G Kishan Reddy said that BJP will also win the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections. (input language)
