Chief Minister Eknath Shinde honored the famous Marathi theater artist Prashant Damle during the program. He was honored for the 12,500th show of Damle’s play ‘Eka Lagnachi Gosht’. Addressing the program, the CM said that a lot of films and TV shows are being shot in Thane. Therefore the state government has decided to establish a bridge between Mumbai and Thane at a distance of 23 km. film city planned to make.
CM Shinde said that after reviewing and inspecting the condition of all the plays and theaters going on at present, necessary steps will be taken to improve them. The government has decided to appoint a nodal officer for this. On the matter of Marathi theater artist Prashant Damle getting the Padma award, Shinde said that the state government has sent a recommendation to the Center for this.
