Jamui. Simultala Residential School, which is called the factory of toppers in Bihar Board’s inter examination results, has been disappointed for the second consecutive year. The students of Simultala Residential School of Jamui district have not been able to make it to the top ten this year as well. Let us tell you that the students of this school, opened on the lines of Netarhat Residential School, are appearing in the Inter examination since 2017. From then till 2021, the students of this school were either toppers, otherwise they would definitely get a place in the top five, but this school has been disappointed for the second consecutive year.
Like last year, when the result of Bihar Board Inter came on Tuesday, this school got disappointed. After the declaration of the examination results, the students and teachers of Simultala Residential School are being held responsible for the lack of regular teacher in the school as well as the evaluation process. After the result of the examination, the students studying here say that the copy of the topper should be displayed.
After the Inter result, now the students studying in Simultala Residential School are making an open challenge demanding that the Bihar Board display the topper’s copy. The students here have said that the students of Simultala Residential School are becoming victims of politics. If it is not so, then the Bihar Board should get the answer sheets of the children included in the top ten publicly displayed.

Please tell that this time 39 students from the school had appeared in the intermediate examination. The students claim that the Bihar School Examination Board should compare the answer sheets of the students of Simultala and the answer sheets of the children included in the top ten. Since the students of Simultala Residential School did not rank in the top or top five in the Inter examination for two consecutive years, the students studying here told that these people are facing the problem of teachers first. There are no regular teachers for many subjects here for years. One has to study on the basis of adhoc and guest teachers.
The students also said that in Simultala residential school, English medium is taught and children write answers in that medium in the examination. But, our answer sheets are also evaluated by Hindi medium teachers. In such a situation, the students do not perform better. Many students had clearly said that the evaluation of the copies of the students of their school should be done by the English medium teachers only.
Sunil Kumar, Deputy Principal of Simultala Residential School, said that whatever the children have said is true to a large extent. However, our intention is not to question the qualification of Hindi medium teachers, but the children who write copy in English medium, their copy should be evaluated by English medium teachers only.
The principal says that during the tenure of Rajmani, former secretary of the Bihar School Examination Board, the copy of the Simultala residential school was evaluated separately by the English medium teacher. But, for the last 3 years, this school’s copy is being evaluated in a normal way like other schools.
