Former Haryana Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu is the richest candidate in the state. He has declared his assets worth Rs 417 crore. He is contesting from Narnaund assembly seat on BJP ticket. According to the election affidavit of 56-year-old Abhimanyu, he has declared the total movable and immovable assets of himself and his wife as Rs 369.03 crore and Rs 47.96 crore respectively. However, he has shown only Rs 1.1 lakh in cash. Along with this, he has given information about investments in bonds, debentures and shares worth Rs 251 crore. Captain Abhimanyu also has gold jewellery and other valuables worth Rs 21.53 lakh.
Savitri Jindal is contesting the election as an independent candidate from Hisar seat. She has declared her total assets as Rs 270 crore. 76-year-old Savitri has declared her movable and immovable assets as Rs 190 crore and Rs 80 crore respectively. According to the affidavit, Savitri does not own a car. She is the mother of BJP MP from Kurukshetra Naveen Jindal and wife of late industrialist OP Jindal. She is contesting against Haryana minister and current MLA from Hisar Kamal Gupta.
Bhupinder Singh Hooda does not have any car
Talking about former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda, he is also ahead in this list. According to the election affidavit, he has declared his total assets including his wife as Rs 26.48 crore. 77-year-old Hooda is contesting from Garhi Sampla Kiloi seat. He has declared his movable and immovable assets including his wife as Rs 7.20 crore and Rs 19.28 crore respectively. Interestingly, he does not have any vehicle, but has gold jewellery worth Rs 1.32 crore and silver worth Rs 23.25 lakh. Hooda, leader of opposition in Haryana Assembly, also has a rifle, a revolver and a pistol.
Abhay Chautal has diamonds worth Rs 15 lakh
Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Abhay Singh Chautala has declared his total assets, along with his wife, at Rs 61 crore. According to the election affidavit, Chautala, who is contesting from Ellenabad, has declared movable and immovable assets worth Rs 37.31 crore and Rs 23.70 crore respectively. Abhay Chautala owns 2 tractors, a jeep and 4 cars. The 61-year-old leader also owns gold jewellery worth Rs 60.90 lakh, silver worth Rs 1.70 lakh and diamonds worth Rs 15 lakh.

Now let’s talk about Jannayak Janata Party leader and former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala. According to the election affidavit, Dushyant Chautala has total assets worth Rs 82.08 crore along with his wife. He is contesting from Uchana Kalan. Dushyant has declared movable and immovable assets worth Rs 35.73 crore and Rs 46.35 crore respectively. He also has gold jewellery worth Rs 1.85 crore and diamonds worth Rs 62.90 lakh. It is known that voting for 90 assembly seats of Haryana is to be held on October 5 and counting of votes will be done on October 8.
