New Delhi: In the assembly elections held in 5 states of the country, BJP has performed brilliantly and won in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Ever since the results of the assembly elections came out, the same question is being asked that who will be the next Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan? Although political pundits are making many speculations, but when Union Home Minister Amit Shah was asked this question in the Parliament House complex, he smiled and gave an answer which increased the suspense instead of reducing it.
‘I will tell you, why delay?’
Amit Shah, who reached Parliament to attend the proceedings of the winter session of Parliament, smilingly replied to the question asked about the name of the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, ‘Nothing has been decided yet.’ When he was asked whether the names of the Chief Ministers of these states would be decided this week, he said, ‘It will be decided, why delay.’ At the same time, when journalists tried to know something else while talking about change of government in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, Amit Shah laughingly said only that ‘changes keep happening.’
Only Telangana is in the hands of Congress
Let us tell you that recently assembly elections were held in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram. While performing brilliantly in these elections, it won in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, it also increased its number of seats from one to 8 in Telangana. In Telangana, Congress registered a good victory by defeating Bharat Rashtra Samithi. Whereas, Zoram People’s Movement registered victory in Mizoram. If seen in this way, while BJP won in 3 out of 5 states, Congress and ZPM won in one each.
