Whom did Trump threaten to send to jail just before the first debate with Kamala Harris?

Before his first and possibly only debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, former President Donald Trump has warned his opponents of sending them to jail. In a post on his social media platform, he has threatened to send those who commit fraud in this election to jail. He has said that he will get this election thoroughly investigated. Trump wrote, “When I win, those who commit fraud will be prosecuted. I will send these people to jail so that any kind of corruption does not happen again.” It is worth noting that Kamala Harris has agreed to only one debate so far which will be hosted by ABC. This debate will be held on Tuesday, September 10.

His statement has again raised doubts about fraud in the US presidential election. He said, “Be careful. This includes lawyers, political workers, donors, illegal voters and corrupt election officials. Those involved in dishonesty will be hunted down, caught and prosecuted at a level never seen before in the country.” Trump had always accused the 2020 election of fraud.

Trump will release supporters on the first day of office

“Harris-Biden are trying to put me in jail. They want to put me in jail because I’m exposing their corruption,” Trump claimed at an outdoor rally at a central Wisconsin airport. Trump said at a rally for a congressional committee investigating the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol by his supporters after he lost the 2020 election that he would review the cases of every political prisoner wronged by Harris as soon as possible and sign their release on the first day he returns to office.

Wisconsin is important to both parties

Both Harris and Trump are putting their full force in Wisconsin this year. This is a state where four of the last six presidential elections have been decided by a margin of less than one percent. After Biden’s withdrawal, many surveys of Wisconsin voters showed a close contest between Harris and Trump. Democrats consider Wisconsin one of the “Blue Wall” states. Biden, who was in Wisconsin on Thursday, won the state by about 21,000 votes in 2020. In 2016, Trump won it by about 23,000 votes.
