Mumbai, A case was registered on Friday against the security manager of a luxurious hotel in south Mumbai for allegedly raping a 29-year-old female security guard. Giving information about the matter, a police officer said that the woman had lodged a complaint with the police station on Friday morning. After this a case was registered under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the Scheduled Castes-Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
The police officer said that the woman alleged in her complaint that the incident happened on February 18, when the accused called her to a lodge located near the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel to discuss the outstanding salary.

According to the complaint, when the woman reached the lodge, the accused mixed intoxicants in her drink and after that she rape did.

The woman has claimed that when she was working in the hotel, the security personnel was asking her about her caste.
