Like every year, this year too the Yogi government is going to give gifts to women on Diwali. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the Yogi government will give a free cylinder to the beneficiaries of UP on Diwali. The process of giving free cylinders to the beneficiaries has been started. Although no order has come from the government yet, the government has taken a policy decision on this, hence the order coming is a formality. When the cylinders will be distributed for free, it will be known only after the order comes. It is believed that the order to supply the cylinder may be issued in two-three days. Actually, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is being run in the entire country. Under this, two cylinders are given free of cost to Ujjwala beneficiaries in a year. The first cylinder is available on Diwali and the second cylinder is given on Holi.
CM Yogi had given instructions in the Diwali review meeting

Complete care should be taken of cleanliness in every temple premises.
Buses should be increased on rural routes
The Chief Minister said that during festivals there is often a shortage of buses on rural routes. The Transport Corporation needs to increase the number of buses on these routes. The corporation should also see that bus drivers and conductors behave well with the citizens. Under no circumstances should rickety and dilapidated buses be run. There is a need to increase electric bus service in urban areas.
