Yeti Narasimhanand made controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad, FIR filed after video went viral

A case of hurting religious sentiments has been registered against Mahant Yati Narasimhanand Giri of Devi Temple located in Dasna, Ghaziabad. He is accused of making objectionable comments on Prophet Mohammad Sahib, the originator of the religion of Islam, during a program organized at Hindi Bhawan. He made these inflammatory comments when he was advising people not to burn the effigies of Ravana and Kumbhakarna on Dussehra, during which he took the name of Mohammad Saheb and said controversial things.

After the video of this speech of Narasimhanand went viral, a case has been registered against him in Sihani Gate police station. This event took place on September 29, but after the video went viral on Thursday, the police registered a case. This case has been registered by the sub-inspector posted there. In the FIR, Yeti Narasimhanand has been accused of hurting the religious sentiments of people of other communities.

In the report filed by Sub Inspector Trivendra Singh posted at Sihani Gate police station, he said that he was on patrol in Lohia Nagar outpost area at around 6 pm on Thursday evening. Meanwhile, it came to light that a video is going viral on social media, in which Mahant Yati Narasimhanand of Dasna Devi Temple is giving an inflammatory speech. When the video was watched, objectionable comments were being made by Yeti Narasimhanand about another community.

According to the Sub Inspector, upon investigation it was found that on September 29, a program was organized at Hindi Bhawan in the name of Amar Baidhani Major Asaram Vyag Seva Sansthan. Yeti Narasimhanand also came to this program. In his speech he said objectionable things about other communities. ACP Nandgram Poonam Mishra said that on the complaint of the Sub-Inspector, further action is being taken by registering a case against Mahant Yati Narasimhanand for hurting religious sentiments.
