Yogi government took action against 2.5 lakh such workers of UP, stopped their salary for the month of August

Despite the strict instructions of the Yogi government in UP, 2,44,565 state employees have not given the details of their properties on the Manav Sampada portal. According to the reports received from the departments, action has now been taken against these employees. The department has withheld the salary for the month of August. Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh had instructed the state employees to compulsorily give the details of movable and immovable properties on the Manav Sampada portal by August 31. Despite this, not all employees have uploaded the details of their properties online. According to the information received, only 71 percent of the employees have uploaded the information of their properties online.

There are 846640 state employees in the government departments of the state. Even after the order of the Chief Secretary, only 602075 employees have registered the details of their properties online on the Manav Sampada portal. In the order issued by the Chief Secretary, it was said that the employees working in government departments will also have to give the details of their properties online on the lines of IAS and PCS.

Along with teachers, employees working in corporations and autonomous institutions were not included in this. Even after the order of the Chief Secretary, employees have shown reluctance in giving details of their properties. The government is very angry about this. Apart from stopping salary, other actions can also be taken against employees who do not give details of their properties.
