Ratan Tata and Kumar Mangalam Birla
There is a wave of mourning across the world due to the demise of veteran industrialist Ratan Tata. Ratan Tata, who did business in more than 100 countries across six continents, was an inspiration for everyone due to his understanding and thinking. He said goodbye to this world at 11.30 pm on Wednesday night. Ratan Tata’s mortal remains have been kept at the NCPA lawn in Mumbai for the last darshan. People are taking darshan of him from 10 am in the morning and this process will continue till 3.30 pm. After this, Ratan Tata’s last rites will be performed.
Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla also reached the NCPA lawn to pay his last respects to Ratan Tata and pay him tribute. After leaving, he said, “This is a huge loss for the country. Not just for corporate India but for the entire country. The impact of his work is unparalleled. We should remember him through the richness of his work.” We met several times many years ago. He was calm, thrifty and always thinking in the interest of the country.”
Ananya Birla talked about taking the legacy forward
Paying tribute to Ratan Tata, entrepreneur Ananya Birla said, “He was a visionary. He followed hard work and discipline for so many years. Hope we all work hard and take his legacy forward.”
Piyush Goyal became emotional
Union Minister Piyush Goyal got emotional while recalling his memories with Ratan Tata, saying, “140 crore Indians and the world love him. I remember when he once came home for breakfast in Mumbai, we Only served a simple idli, sambar, dosa, but they were very grateful. I mean, they must have had the best cooks in the world. But they were very kind to all of us in the family. They were very kind to the servers serving breakfast and at the end of the few beautiful hours we spent at the house, as they were leaving, they very sweetly asked my wife “Would you like to take a picture with me?” We really wanted to do it, but were shy to ask. It’s these small thoughtful gestures that make Ratan Tata loved by 140 crores and the world loves him. “
