Dhoni’s army will defeat Gujarat Titans at any cost, says CSK coach before final

AHMEDABAD: Chennai Super Kings head coach Stephen Fleming says his team is better prepared than ever for the Indian Premier League (IPL) final against Gujarat Titans. He said that his team would be ready to play in any conditions and that in the past they had made mistakes in assessing conditions and pitches. There is a possibility of rain on the day of the final on Sunday. Fleming said on the eve of the match, ‘We prepared ourselves so well for Chennai that on some occasions we had to fight on the grounds of the opposing team. So there will be a little challenge in the final but our record of winning the final is 50 per cent. We are not worried about the kind of conditions we will get in the final. One of the two pitches will be selected but we are not worried. We are better prepared for the final this time than in the past.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans team director Vikram Solanki said having a good understanding of home conditions will help his team. Solanki said, ‘We have played many matches here and in this case we are definitely in a better position. We played the final here last year and have been successful in big matches.

Gujarat Titans will come down to save the title

The team of Gujarat Titans has reached the final for the second time in a row in IPL 2023. Gujarat has also had a strong performance in the league stage. In such a situation, Gujarat’s challenge for CSK in the final match is not going to be easy at all. Gujarat Titans finished first in the points table in the league stage.

Although CSK is also a four-time champion team and under the captaincy of Dhoni, this team knows how to win even in difficult situations. In such a situation, the final competition is expected to be exciting.
